How to Make Wordpress My Homepage?

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

After conversing with my hosting provider, he informed me that Wordpress was not his product, so he couldn’t support. Duh!

So, I figured it out myself:

1. Download Wordpress onto your computer.
2.Re-name wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php
3.when you fire up your ftp, on the left you will find you files, double click on Wordpress until you see the sub-directory. Then, select(highlight), copy all those files, minus the parent file that says Wordpress.
4.Copy files to you root directory on your hosting site.
5.Then run through the set-up procedure–don’t forget to write down your first password, for you will need to change it, so you can later remember.
